More Info: Move: The Transportation Expo
About: MOVE: The Transportation Expo was a multimedia exhibition produced by the Institute Without Boundaries in partnership with Evergreen Canada. Held at the historic Evergreen Brick Works Kilns building from May to November 2012, MOVE presented a multi-sensory tour of the future of sustainable transportation and explored the innovative ideas and technologies needed to build and connect future communities in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) and in cities around the world.
As part of the exhibit design team, I was responsible for curating content for and producing several immersive video installations that explored our changing relationship with transportation and mobility around the world, and a look at the history of transportation in a more local content. I was also responsible for working closely with the venue and technology partner to ensure the interactive components of the exhibit design could be realized given the associated technological requirements and the constraints of the semi-outdoor exhibit space.
I was also responsible for co-designing and developing the web-presence for the expo. The website provided a platform for discussion and social media engagement around the topics raised in the expo.
